Take on a pivotal role as Chief of Staff for our Critical Access Hospital, Medical Director for the Rural Health Clinic, and collaborating Physician for our PA???s and NP???s. Job Overview: Profession: Physician Specialty: Family Medicine Default Rate Type: On Call (Daily) Emergency/Temp Privileges: Yes Shift Description: 5 days per week every other week (Friday to Tuesday) 3-4 days of call availability and 1-2 days of clinic work Weekend Requirements: Yes On Call Requirements: Yes Job Details: We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician (no OB) for locum tenens coverage with additional responsibilities. This includes serving as Chief of Staff for our Critical Access Hospital, Medical Director for the Rural Health Clinic, and collaborating Physician for our PA???s and NP???s. Schedule: 5 days per week every other week (Friday to Tuesday) Duties include on-call coverage for the ER, inpatient floor, and clinic Low patient volume: 3 ER patients/day, inpatient floor average daily census of 2.7, and clinic urgent care visits not exceeding 8/day On-call Physician required to be in the ER within 30 minutes if requested Coverage also includes Chief of Staff, Medical Director, and collaborating Physician roles Required Procedures: Intubating, suturing, lesion removal, chest tubes EMR: Cerner Support Staff: Clinical team available for support e-ER and e-Hospitalist services through Avera available for additional support Reason for Coverage: Two Physicians out with unexpected medical issues Requirements: To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Family Medicine Board Certification ??? Board Certified NE License & DEA ???
