• The Wyandotte Nation is a federally recognized Native American tribe headquartered in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. The Wyandotte Nation consists of remnants of the Tionontati, Attignawantan and Wenrohronon (Wenro), all unique independent tribes, who united in 1649-50 after being defeated by the Iroquois Confederacy. The mission of the government of the Wyandotte Nation is to improve the quality of life for all tribal citizens. The Nation accomplishes this through providing quality governmental programs and services managed by sound decision-making and competent administration. Considering future generations and the protection of our tribal sovereignty, the Wyandotte Nation will utilize effective stewardship of our human, financial and natural resources. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Family Physician. The Family Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Day-to-day tasks will involve conducting physical exams, evaluating patient history, diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medication, and recommending treatments. The role also includes coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care is cohesive and effective. This position is located in Miami, OK.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Primary Care and Family Medicine
• Experience in Community Health and laboratory medicine is a plus
• Degree in Medicine and relevant board certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in rural healthcare settings is a plus
