River Valley Health and Dental Care (RVHD) is seeking a mission-driven Family Medicine Physician to step into a key leadership role within our primary care team. If you’re passionate about community health, eager to mentor clinicians, and committed to delivering high-quality care in an underserved area, we want to meet you. As a physician leader at RVHD, you will guide a team of skilled and dedicated clinicians while providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. You’ll play a central role in strengthening care delivery, elevating clinical practice, and supporting the next generation of medical providers.

Job Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide high-quality medical care in alignment with evidence-based guidelines, standards of care, and regulatory expectations.
• Collaborate closely with a full care team—behavioral health, dental, social services, and more—to promote holistic, continuous patient care.
• Supervise and mentor physician assistants and nurse practitioners, ensuring treatment protocols are implemented and upheld.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing support for midlevel providers.
• Help shape and maintain treatment standards that improve outcomes for our community.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree with unrestricted Pennsylvania license.
• Board certification in Family Medicine preferred.
• Current DEA certification.
• A leader with a collaborative style, strong communication skills, and a passion for serving underserved communities.
